Oh, wow! You and I didn't have a good weekend. I sprained my ankle Friday night and it hurt. Don't even want to think how bad yours hurt. Hope it's better soon.

Wait a second *goes back to actually read exactly what Primrose wrote* I'm so sorry, I didn't see that you said you just did that. I hope you heal up quick too, Primrose. I had a bad weekend, too, but all of it (other than the loomy fact of the CEO of the company I work for was displeased with my department at work, never met said CEO, because I wasn't there), through other people, my siblings. My sister had two majorly bad things happen to her. She is physically fine, but emotionally a mess and very, very mad. It's rather hard to know how my brother is feeling, he doesn't talk about feelings, but I'm pretty sure he's mad, too. Thankfully neither of them is mad at me seeing as I had nothing to do with any of it, but I can't expain what happened. I'm hoping good will come out of this, but if it does it's going to be a very long road. I am furious at namless faceless people (since I know very little of the exact facts and no one will tell me who did the most of the things involved) and want to hit them with pool noodles (doesn't really hurt unless you do something really wrong, but really would help with frustration). I have dropped one person off my list of potential people to be mad at. I don't know how much he did or didn't know, but it really helped to talk to him. He's someone who is good to talk to. I should probably post this in my own thread, but I'm posting it here in responce to bad weekends. Hope you don't mind me posting here, too much Sammi.

Wow. Sounds like nobody around here had a really good weekend, did they? And I accept your well-wishes, StoryGirl -- but I'm fine (aside from stressing over finals). I wacked up my ankle back in January (ice + penny loafers + dog = ouch) -- Jenna wacked up hers this past Friday.
So Jenna and Sammi -- I hope you both heal up soon!

Oh to hear that everyone had bad weekends! Our family had one, too. Right in the midst of a wonderful vacation at my sister's cabin, her dog bit my brother's son's arm very badly. The dog has bit others so now my sister will have to put the dog down, so I feel bad for them while also feeling bad for my nephew. He'll be okay, thank God (the bite only tore muscles, not bone or arteries or nerves or tendons, although it came *very* close), but you can imagine how much that shook up him and his family, and put quite a pall on our vacation. Here's hoping this week goes a lot better for all of us! Sammi, although I've never broken my ankle, I did sprain it badly and had a hairline fracture and I remember how badly that hurt and how long it took to heal. Here's hoping yours heals a lot faster! Just take *very* good care of it! I didn't and, oh, did I pay for that mistake!

Oh goodness. Boy do I feel like the odd one out. I had a great weekend...
Anyhow, hugs for everyone who had a crummy weekend. Sammi and Jenna hope ya heal real fast. Es, I hope your nephew heals alright! StoryGirl, I hope things turn around for ya. And finally, Primrose I'm sure you will do fine on your finals, but nonetheless GOOD LUCK! I know how much those stress someone out.

Awww! Thanks for the "Get wells" guys! Im ok. I can still work, and I get to use the lift now instead of having to climb up 4 flights of stairs which is an obvious perk! It does hurt though! I forgot about it today when I went to get some water, and soon sat back down again when the pain shot up my foot! Serves me right! I hope everyone is gettin better too! And yey for you Amber! Im glad you had a good weekend! There has to be someone!

Oh, Sammi! I'm glad to hear that your injury won't prevent you from working; that's definitely good news! And getting to use the lift (elevator to us American-types) is definitely a perk, so enjoy it while you can! But take care of that thing; it will definitely let you know if you don't!
Amber, I'm with Sammi; I'm glad *someone* had a good weekend! And I'm SOOO glad to have you back!! I missed you!!!
