It's this idea that I had been bouncing in my head. You can use it if you want to. I wondered how would Prue feel if she were to return to the living with no memories since her death.
She was stunned to see her family changed in many ways.
Piper- Piper had changed. She used to be a peacemaker and now she was a mother with two super powerful boys of her own. Prue was stunned to see that Melinda doesn't exist and that Piper seem to fling spells at others who dare to hurt her kids and her family, including mortals.
Leo- Leo had turned darker and lost his powers. Prue wondered what happened to the somewhat caring man who couldn't hurt a fly? She was even more stunned to learn about him killing two elders and being an Avatar.
Phoebe- Phoebe had changed the most. Prue was impressed at the career Phoebe developed and snagging a cupid. However, Phoebe didn't seem to want anything to do with magic any more. She doesn't even have premonitions that involved helping others. All she cared about was Coop and she didn't even want to talk about Cole. She had lost her passion and her desire to help others in need.
Paige- Paige was the missing sister who replaced her after she died. Prue actually liked Paige since she seemed the most independent and care for others. Yet, she seemed a little distant from her other sisters. She worked more on being a whitelighter than being a witch.
Prue became scared for her sisters since she still remembered the future she wanted to prevent. A future of Phoebe being burned at the stake for crimes of being a witch and killing a mortal with her powers. That reality is starting to become more possible even with the different people and situations. Because the Charmed Ones had forgotten that they are not supposed to punish the guilty.
Prue will do everything in her power to save her sisters' souls.

That sounds like a very interesting idea.

I'm with StoryGirl. This sounds like a *great* idea.
Something to add to it. Rather than PHOEBE using her powers (since she's lost most of hers, since she never uses them now that she has Coop), when BILLIE is murdered by CAL GREENE while baby-sitting Wyatt and Chris (with Chris almost getting caught in the crossifre) and is then let go on a technicality, Piper gets angry and blasts him to smithereens! Unfortunately, she is seen and photographed, hence starting the Witch Trials with Piper's trial first. THIS is when Prue shows up...

Tisk. Tisk, Es. Bloody. That is a good idea for it though. The way Phoebe is going she probably would have to premonition the guy to death. Powers don't grow if not used and she maybe has that power. I know they never showed her getting back the other two. I'm sure the Billie hating crowd would love it, since it kills off Billie. Do you really think Piper would let Billie baby sit, though? Clearly Phoebe and Coop did, but Piper might still be upset about the whole Wyatt's stolen powers thing. If this were to happen around the same time as MB it would probably be about two years in the future (because by the time Charmed ended it was about a year ahead of real time. "Desperate House Witches" was in October 2006 even though it aired in October 2005 or there abouts.)

Well, I don't see Phoebe getting the "premonition to death" power because I don't see her gaining *any* powers. As I said, I think by this point she'd be pretty much powerless due to misuse. Piper's anger and her blasting power is much more likely to kill someone than Phoebe. And naturally I had to pick on Billie. If Billie had proven herself as a friend now that Christy is gone, I think Piper would let her babysit...anything that lets HER get out of the house, and if her little errand boy isn't free, or if she wants him with her for some reason...
And I LOVE the idea of Cal Greene beating Billie to a pulp with his baseball bat with little Chris *almost* getting caught by a backswing of the bat just as Piper walks in! She almost kaBOOMS him then, but Leo stops her and insists they call the cops instead. Then when Cal uses his money and his fame and a tricky lawyer to get out on a technicality, oh, yes, I can SOOO see Piper kaBOOOMING him! And if she was seen doing it, and there's no longer any Darryl around to prevent the Halliwells from getting in trouble with the cops...
As for the time period, well, it *is* almost February 12, 2009 and that's when Phoebe died in Morality Bites, so that's when I think Piper would burn...if Prue can't get her to save herself first!
So, Marie? Would that work for your fic?

I was being sarcastic on the "premontion to death" thing, because I agree that Phoebe would not get anymore powers. The explanation on Billie makes sense to me especially when combined with Piper's current selfishness. And it's probably about a year and a half or so before February 12, 2009, take away six months or more for two trials (Cal's and then Piper's), maybe even a year, so Billie's death could be really soon . . . way before Phoebe has kids, but you know this brings Prue into the picture, so that changes everything. I agree that this should be the time for anything involving Cal Greene.

I got a good idea on how Prue gets back. Phoebe was feeling a little jealous when Paige started to levitate; a power she got from her whitelighter half. So, after a little argument about how Phoebe tends to neglect her magic. She decided to summon Melinda Warren by herself to talk to her and ended up getting Prue with the power of premonitions.

I'm confused by the last part. Do you mean that Prue would have the power of premonition, or she would have a premonition of Prue instead of summoning Melinda? I like the beginning about Paige getting the levitation power that Leo showed whitelighters can get and Phoebe being jealous of that, but I'm not sure what that last bit means.

According to the episode that had the Charmed Ones summoned Melinda Warren from the afterlife (I think) and because they summoned her with their blood, she has their powers. (I think).

Well, she already had their powers, because they had her powers, but as it's been a while I don't know if the blood would have given them her powers if she didn't, but since Dr. Williamson got them after he was accidentally injected with them, I imagine that would probably run true. Thanks for explaining. Now, that I understand it sounds good.

Thanks. It also makes things a lot easier for Prue to discover. She could just touch Phoebe and Paige and discover all sorts of things.

Looks nice. I don't know if I will put in any elements from Morality Bites but you never know.
