INDEX CARD
TITLE: Out Of Control
AUTHOR: Honey
TYPE (one-shot, chapters, part of a series): One-Shot
RATING: (K, T, M, MA): T
LEAD CHARACTERS: Phea Halliwell
ORIGINAL CHARACTERS: Phea, Poppy and Pamela Halliwell
SHORT SUMMARY: What if the death of a loved one sent your little sister over the edge? Would you stand and watch her fade away into nothing? Or battle to save someone who really doesn't want saving?
Phea put her key in the lock and turned it quietly. She knew Pam would be waiting up for her and she didn't want Pam to see her drunk. She pushed open the door silently and dropped her keys. "d**n!" She said outloud. She covered her mouth and giggled. Phea stumbled slightly and picked up the keys then shut the door and tottered into the hall. She spotted her sister looming over her ready to give her a lecture. Quickly testing her breath on the back of her hand she realised there was no way she was getting away with it.
Pamela was looking at Phea, her wide green eyes were quite open now. She could feel her sister's drunkness, and how Phea knew she would lecture her. "Well, Phea I hope you have a good night sleep, and I a guessing you might need some aspirins tomorrow" She said in a cold voice. She would recieve no sympathy from her. Phea had brought it all on herself and by now at 16 years old she should know the difference between right and wrong. Turning away from her sister she walked back into the living room awaiting the sarcastic retort that she knew her sister would have.
A third voice spoke up from her spot on the stairs. It was Poppy the middle child. It hurt her so much that Phea had gone so downhill in such a short space of time. "What did you do now" Poppy said taking the pencil out of her hair and letting it down. She continued down the last of the steps and walked past her younger sister to where her older sister Pamela was standing by the firplace. "What's going on?" She asked her older sister knowing the answer before it came. Poppy shook her head slowly with hurt in her eyes. There had to be a way to save her little sister from drinking herself into and early grave. There just had to be.
