Cole looked up as Phoebe came crashing through the door.
“What’s up?” He asked her inquisitively. He studied her face. He saw a mixture of confusion, hate and hurt in there.
“Coop” She replied shortly.
“Oh” He replied. He put down his notes and walked towards Phoebe. She pushed him away.
“No Cole, Im not in the mood.” Phoebe told him. He turned around and walked back to his desk. He knew better than to mess with Phoebe when she was in a foul mood.
“What has he done?” Cole asked.
“Well, its just emotional stuff really!” Phoebe cried. Cole felt himself flaring up.
“What do you mean?!” Cole asked. He again walked over to Phoebe and looked into her eyes. He knew that if he looked closely enough he could see what she was thinking.
“He says that he still loves me and wants me to reconsider my decision to take you back” Phoebe blurted out, and immediately regretted it as Cole stood up and started fuming.
“How dare he?” He muttered.
“And what did you say?” Cole asked her.
“What do you think I said Cole?” Phoebe snapped at him. He walked up to her and held her.
“I know, I know.”
“It is unfair.” Phoebe reasoned. “I mean, I know I was unhappy, but the way I just dropped us getting back together on him, was slightly unexpected.”
“Obviously it was, you didn’t plan for me to come back, and for you to realise how much you still loved me!” Cole replied. He didn’t like conversations like this.
The couple had had a few of them since they got back together four months earlier.
“It has only been four months, I can’t expect him to be over me by now!” Phoebe said.
“I just, I don’t know what to do about it.” Phoebe flopped down on the sofa, defeated.
“Its not even grounds for divorce though is it?!” She cried. “Oh, my supposed dead husband came back and I realised I still loved him! How would that look to the Judge?!” She asked him.
“Well… Not so good!” Cole reasoned
